Ultra Femme 360 in Singapore is a US FDA-cleared non-invasive procedure that treats a woman’s intimate areas and improves her intimate health. This non-surgical treatment is worth considering if you’re looking to rejuvenate your intimate well-being by improving vaginal laxity, enhancing sexual satisfaction, and treating urinary stress incontinence.
If you’re considering Ultra Femme 360 for vaginal rejuvenation it is only important to be aware of the things you need to know before undergoing the procedure:
Ultra Femme 360 uses a handheld device that simultaneously delivers safe ultrasound energy and radiofrequency waves. It involves the insertion of the 360° disposable tip through the Introitus (opening) inside the vaginal canal. The tip will then be moved alongside the entire length of the vaginal canal using slow repeating motion forward (towards Cervix) and backward (towards Introitus).
It uses the unique EFC™ (Energy Flow Control), which re-assures the patient that optimal level of power is delivered to the target tissue while also monitoring and adjusting the energy in real time. This only means that there will be no discomfort or risk for infection or discharge.
You will need to provide in advance your latest Pap smear result done within 6 to 12 months.
In scheduling your procedure, make sure to wait at least 10 days after the last day of your menstrual period. It is also advisable to shave all hair in the treatment area prior to the procedure.
In Cutis Laser Clinics, you will need to fill out assessment forms and have a consultation with Dr. Sylvia Ramirez, our Harvard-trained aesthetic doctor, to determine if the procedure is suitable for you.
During the treatment, the first Ultra Femme disposable handpiece will be inserted in the vaginal opening delivering uniform heat in the treated area which feels like a pleasant and comfortable heat.
For labia remodelling and tightening, a second disposable tip will be used to treat the outside area. The heat is also adjustable and can be immediately reduced when needed.
The radiofrequency and ultrasound will then trigger the body’s own natural regenerative process that leads to new and stronger collagen while maintaining patient safety and comfort. After the treatment, collagen restoration process takes place over time, usually within 60-90 days after the treatment.
The inside session of the treatment takes at least eight minutes while the outside takes at least 30 minutes.
While Ultra Femme 360 applies heat to the treatment area, you will feel a pleasant and comfortable warming sensation. You may notice some mild swelling and redness after the treatment, but this normally subsides within a few hours. Just do note that you will have to postpone your appointment if you are on your period.
Since the whole procedure is non-invasive, there is no downtime or recovery. However, it is important to follow your doctor’s timeline for refraining from intercourse or using tampons for two days to avoid irritating the area.
An experienced aesthetic doctor in Singapore will tailor a treatment plan based on your needs. The standard procolo for Ultra Femme is three sessions, which is scheduled weekly or at least 10 days interval.
Many patients notice improvements after the initial treatment, but overall results will continue to improve over time especially after the third session.
You have to keep in mind that the results vary from patient to patient depending on the severity and the amount of tissue laxity as well as your body’s natural response to the treatment.
