Get Healthy and Glowing Skin with Juvederm Volite

Sometimes, a good skin care regimen is not enough to keep your skin glowing and looking youthful. While it certainly helps, there comes a time that you’ll need an extra boost, especially true if you notice signs of aging like sagging skin, wrinkles, fine lines, and pigmentation.

There is no mystery as to why a skin that was once firm and tight now appears saggy, dry, and rough. The production of collagen, the protein responsible for skin elasticity, declines with age and continues to decrease with other factors such as UV rays exposure, smoking, and even excessive sugar consumption.

Although you may have control over some of your lifestyle factors, this is not the same with aging. Fortunately, a safe and effective injectable treatment like Juvederm Volite can improve your skin’s elasticity and hydration. It also offers an added benefit of reducing the appearance of fine lines and smoothing skin roughness.

Continue reading to learn how this injectable can give you a healthy and glowing skin.

What exactly is Juvederm Volite?

Juvederm Volite is an innovative anti-aging injectable treatment made of hyaluronic acid or HA, a naturally occurring substance in the skin. When delivered into the skin, the hyaluronic acid combines with the water in the skin to hydrate, improve elasticity, and help remove fine lines. This can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

What makes it unique?

This injectable deeply penetrates the skin with minimal to no downtime. It can also stimulate the body’s natural collagen to improve skin quality. Studies showed that results can last up to nine months and provide significant improvement in skin quality for up to six months, eliminating the need for multiple treatments.

You can check out our previous blog to learn what makes Juvederm Volite different from typical dermal fillers

Volite uses VYCROSS® technology, a manufacturing process that provides a high concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It allows the HA to remain soft and smooth and blends different molecular weights of HA to maintain long-lasting effects.

Just like other Juvederm fillers, Volite also contains Lidocaine to enhance patient comfort during the procedures. A small amount of numbing agent can be used so patients can undergo treatment with minimal to no discomfort.

Is Juvederm Volite right for me?

Juvederm Volite is suitable for people of all skin types and can be used as a skin booster treatment. It is suitable if you have dry skin, fine lines, and wrinkles, as well as mild laxity on the face, neck, and back of the hands. You can also turn to Juvederm Volite to refresh your skin and give it a youthful glow.

How soon are the results seen?

You may notice plumping effects after the procedure, but full results are visible after two weeks. There may also be possible pinpoint bruises and needle-marks in the treatment areas that can last five to seven days following the procedure.

Just be sure to avoid taking fish oil or any anti-inflammatory medication two weeks before the procedure, as it can increase the risk of bruising.

What you should keep in mind?

While the use of Juvederm Volite is safe, it is still a medical aesthetic procedure that should only be performed by a trained injector or aesthetic doctor. Injecting filler also requires attention to detail, careful technique, and artistic skills to achieve natural-looking results and avoid complications.

Glowing or good-looking skin translates to a good feeling about yourself. Contact Cutis Laser Clinics today and schedule a consultation with our Harvard-trained aesthetic doctor, Dr. Sylvia Ramirez, to learn more about what Juvederm Volite can do for your skin.
