Serums for Microneedling: Exploring the Dermapen MG-Collection

While Dermapen 4 microneedling is a good standalone treatment, it also works best when combined with other products and procedures. This is ideal if you’re looking to address different skin concerns and want to take your skin needling treatment to the next level.

At Cutis Medical Laser Clinics, we have different aesthetic treatments that you can pair with Dermapen 4, as well as expert formulations specially developed for microneedling. We have the Meso-Glide or MG-Collection serums, which help the Dermapen 4 device glide across the skin while delivering beneficial active ingredients.

How MG-Collections elevate microneedling procedures

The Dermapen 4 device mechanically pierces the skin with up to 1920 holes per second, creating millions of micro fine channels. These allow the serums to penetrate deeper into the skin, so you can reap their benefits. The micro injuries caused by the needles also facilitate faster healing and stimulate collagen production.

As people have different skin concerns and qualities, each one will require a different treatment. The Meso-Glide serums help aesthetic doctors create a personalized treatment based on the patient’s needs. These special formulations can be infused during a microneedling procedure or be used alongside other serums, depending on the patient’s goals and concerns.

You may also be glad to know that Dermapen 4 microneedling, as a standalone procedure, can be used to tackle or improve different concerns, including:

  • Enlarged pores
  • Fine lines
  • Scars (acne, burn, surgical)
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stretch marks
  • Aged/sagging skin

The MG-Collection serums

There are five different Meso-Glide serums. They can tackle various skin concerns such as scarring, dark spots, signs of aging, and problematic/oily skin. The serums are infused into the skin and feature a combination of sterile active ingredients and new skin technologies.

Here are the 5 serums and their benefits:

1. MG-HA35+

Containing potent strength of hyaluronic acid or HA (HylaFuse), this serum intensely hydrates skin and helps improve the visible effects of aging. It also features the enhanced telomeres technology (GCP), which helps prolong the life of a cell, minimizing the noticeable effects of aging.

MG-HA35+ also contains antioxidants, peptides, zinc, and vitamins A, B, C, and E. It also has anti-inflammatories that aid with wound healing and visibly minimize redness and irritation.

2. MG-HA35

This serum also contains HylaFuse and helps restore, refresh, and enhance the skin’s appearance. MG-HA35 also has zinc, which accelerates collagen synthesis for better skin repair. It also serves as a skin astringent to reduce natural oil production.

MG-HA35, furthermore, features vitamin B5, which helps soothe, heal, moisturize, and regenerate skin.

3. MG-R.A.S.

The Reverse Aging & Scars (R.A.S) serum features a blend of vitamins, peptides, antioxidants, and botanical extracts that offer enhancing and anti-aging effects. MG-R.A.S. also contains Retinaldehyde (the most active form of retinoid). This regulates and improves cellular activity to visibly reduce:

  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Scars
  • Stretch marks

4. MG-BL

Ideal for hyperpigmented and melasma-affected skin concerns, this serum contains natural skin brighteners that can help slow melanin production. It is designed to brighten and lighten skin and reduce stubborn pigmentation, such as:

  • Age spots
  • Sunspots
  • Melasma
  • Dark spots associated with certain scars

5. MG-CLR

This serum features ingredients that can help clear skin and address problematic skin concerns. MG-CLR can improve your skin’s visible complexion, ideal if you’re dealing with oily skin, acne, comedones, and open/enlarged pores.

It also contains anti-inflammatories that can calm and soothe skin, as well as minimize common symptoms of problematic skin. MG-CLR, furthermore, has vitamin B3 that helps stimulate collagen to improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
