ThermoSculpt™: Reinvent Your Body without Cuts or Needles

Are you looking to sculpt your body and tone your muscles without going under the knife? If you’ve spent countless hours working out but still aren’t seeing the results you want, ThermoSculpt™ may give you the advantage you need to achieve your body goals. This aesthetic treatment can reinvent your body without cuts or needles.

As a part of our commitment in helping patients look and feel their best, we are proud to introduce ThermoSculpt. This non-invasive body shaping procedure, which is the only one of its kind in Singapore, can tone your muscles, burn fat, and even tighten skin. It can sculpt and define your body for a healthier and a more confident appearance.

So, what is ThermoSculpt™?

ThermoSculpt™ is a non-invasive body shaping procedure for fat burning and muscle toning. This treatment uses diathermocontraction (diathermy + faradic muscle contraction) to reinvent the body without cuts or needles.

The Imperium Med 400 system is used to carry out and control the treatment. It involves the use of different handpieces with 3 treatment protocols. These include:

  • BQUAD 40 – heats fat cells and liquefies fat through radiofrequency heating. It uses spherical shaped electrodes to define and sculpt the body.
  • UltraCav 40 – destroys and breaks down fat cells using ultrasonic radio waves. It can contour and shape the body by targeting smaller areas of fat.
  • Thermogym – tones the muscles, reduces fat, and improves lymphatic drainage using diathermocontraction. It involves placing pairs of radio adhesive electrodes in the treated area.

How does ThermoSculpt™ work?

As previously mentioned, ThermoSculpt™ uses diathermocontraction, a unique and patented energy created by Brera Medical. It combines diathermy (deep dermal heating) and faradic muscle contraction. It uses a technical device called the Imperium Med 400 system, which emits high intensity radiofrequency energy (400 watts).

Diathermy – is a form of physical therapy that uses high-frequency electrical current. This generates heat deep within the body, which then helps in deep heating the muscular tissues. Other benefits of diathermy include muscle pain relief, increased blood flow, improved recovery from injury, and others.

Faradic muscle contraction – is also known as electrical muscle stimulation or EMS. It involves the application of electrical body pulses, which then stimulate the muscles to contract. The use of faradic current to stimulate the muscles causes involuntary contraction, which is beneficial in targeting deep and superficial muscles.

The emission of RF energy develops endogenous heat and deep muscular contraction waves. This then enables rejuvenation in different areas of the body, especially those that require muscle toning and overall improvement. Here are the common treatment areas for ThermoSculpt™:

  • Abdomen
  • Inner Arms
  • Thighs
  • Gluteus (muscles in the buttocks)
  • Knees

What can you expect from ThermoSculpt™?

The combination of diathermy and deep muscular heating can help with:

  • Skin laxity
  • Skin dimpling (cellulite)
  • Liporeduction:
  • Buttock lift
  • Muscle toning
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Improvement of blood circulation
  • Functional recovery of adipose tissue

After your recommended number of sessions, you can expect to see improvements in muscle tone and strength, and skin laxity. The use of diathermocontraction provides  rejuvenation in the abdomen, arms, thighs, and buttocks. There is also no downtime, so you can immediately return to your normal routines.

Take note: While ThermoSculpt™ can help reduce fat and tone muscles, it is an aesthetic body rejuvenation procedure and not a weight loss treatment. It is ideal for both men and women looking to help burn fat, tone muscles, and tighten skin for total body reinvention. It can define and sculpt the body, allowing patients to look more confident in their own appearance.
