VI Peel: Not Your Average Chemical Peel Treatment

Not all chemical peels are created equal. While most are used to remove damaged or dead skin cells, there are several types of peels with varying strengths. Depending on the type of peel chosen, downtime may be minimal or can take a few weeks. Certain peels, moreover, may only be administered by a licensed aesthetic doctor

VI Peel™ is one chemical peel treatment that is unlike any other peel. This medical-grade peel can significantly improve your skin’s tone and texture regardless of your skin type and color. It provides a deep peeling effect without the discomfort and lengthy downtime associated with other types of chemical peels

Continue reading to find out why VI Peel is not your average chemical peel.

Contains a synergistic blend of ingredients

VI Peel features a special formulation designed to address or improve a range of skin issues. Its effectiveness lies in its blend of ingredients, which include:

  • Salicylic acid
  • Trichloroacetic acid (TCA)
  • Vitamin C
  • Phenol
  • Tretinoin acid
  • Other minerals

These ingredients work together to improve your skin’s texture by removing damaged layers and stimulating the production of new skin cells. VI Peel allows you to enjoy clearer, firmer, and smoother skin that also appears radiant and more youthful.

Safe for delicate areas like the skin around the eyes

One unique thing about VI Peel is that it is the only chemical peel treatment that is safe for the under-eye area and the skin around the eyes. This is what makes VI Peel effective for improving crow’s feet (wrinkles at the corner of the eyes), as well as other lines and wrinkles on the face.

VI Peel is also versatile and can be used on different areas of the body. These include the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, legs, and back. This is not the case for certain types of chemical peels, which are only suitable for the face and neck areas.

Addresses or improve a range of skin conditions

This medical-grade chemical peel creates micro-damage on the outermost layers of the skin. This then causes it to peel off, as well as promote and encourage new tissue growth. VI Peel exfoliates the area of concern, revealing healthier and more radiant skin. It can:

  • Clear acne skin conditions
  • Reduce age spots and other types of hyperpigmentation
  • Improve or reduce acne scars
  • Soften lines and wrinkles
  • Stimulate the production of collagen
  • Improve the tone, texture, and clarity of the skin

No special preconditioning needed

With VI Peel, there is no preconditioning or advanced preparation required before undergoing the procedure. This then makes it an ideal aesthetic treatment if you have a hectic or busy schedule. The procedure starts with thoroughly cleansing the skin, which is followed by the application of VI Peel formulation.

Just do take note that VI Peel has two phases. During the first phase, the formula penetrates the skin cells on the surface of the skin. This is then followed with wiping the face using a retinol towel. Then, in the second phase, the solution penetrates deeper into the dermis where there is an accumulation of toxins and dead skin cells.

With VI Peel, you will need to let the solution rest on your skin. This means that you will need to go home with the solution still on your face and wash it off later. You will need to wait about four hours before washing your face with the provided cleanser.

Non-invasive and pain-free with minimal downtime

This strong yet gentle chemical peel is non-invasive and virtually painless. You might experience a slight tingling sensation during VI Peel application, but this is tolerable. This only means that topical anesthetics and pain medications are not necessary during the procedure.

Directly after VI Peel, there are no immediate side effects. You, however, will experience some peeling after two to three days. The process will continue for up to six days. During this time, it is common and normal to see unusual skin color changes in yellowish, brownish, or reddish tones.

After the peeling is finished, you’ll see healthier and more beautiful skin with a brighter and glowing complexion. A single VI Peel treatment can provide dramatic results, but multiple treatments are required to achieve your beauty goals.
