Why may lower face contouring be required?

Why Juvederm® VOLUX?

Juvederm® VOLUX is a structural filler, containing 25mg of a manufactured form of hyaluronic acid (HA), intended to restore and create volume of the face. It has been shown to be effective when used in the chin and jawline.

  • Use to shape and sculpt it: Juvederm® VOLUX has the highest cohesivity and elasticity of all the VYCROSS® products, allowing it to be sculpted
  • We consider patient comfort: Juvederm® VOLUX contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride, to help minimise pain and improve injection comfort. In a study, recovery time was shown to be minimal
  • HA fillers can deliver natural-looking results: Juvederm® facial fillers contain a manufactured form of HA. HA may help to reduce the signs of aging by moisturising the skin and returning its elasticity and tone; this can produce natural-looking results

Patients can expect a more defined, sculpted chin and jawline, with effects lasting up to 18 – 24 months.

In some cases, they may notice immediate signs of improvement, with best results showing within a couple of weeks or treatment.

However, others may require more than one treatment in order to achieve the desired look, which will be discussed during your consultation.

This treatment is ideal for any patients who are concerned with the shape of their chin and jawline area and is not age-dependent.

Potential side effects could include inflammatory reactions, itching and discolouration or nodules at the injection site. However, these should clear within a few days to a week, with no long-lasting effects.
